Pastor Jerry

Pastor Jerry was raised in a Pentecostal home. A background where his earliest memories were that of church revivals. With tremendous musical abilities in his life he was involved at an early age in worship. I remember playing the piano in church at the age of five and people giving their life to the Lord. This gift that God placed within him opened the doors in his teen years for the true call of God that was upon his life, this was to preach the word of God.

For 20 years now he has been actively involved in full time ministry. During the earlier years of working in ministry he served three visionary pastors while training and perfecting his skills. From Baton Rouge to Sacramento to Austin, God was preparing him for his season of destiny. He returned to Lake Charles and in October 1999 he established Christian World.

Pastor Hope

Pastor Hope grew up in a small Louisiana town where church and music were her life. From a young age, her gift was strong. She knew the call that God had placed in her involved music and teaching. As a teenager she began directing church choirs and working with children in Sunday school. She pursued higher education and finished with her Master's degree in music education. She has taught music for many years to all ages, from preschool through college level.

In 1999 she co-founded Christian World along with her husband where she is co-pastor. Pastor Hope is the administrator of Christian World and has overseen the growth in every area of the church. She is an amazing teacher and uses her unique teaching style to impart the Word of God to all people in a relevant way. She enjoys teaching Ladies' Bible Study and loves having fun with the children as the Word is taught to them during Children's World. She is the mother of two beautiful daughters and understands the balance of family and work. She has a passion for loving people, right where they are and helping them realize the plan that God has for their life.
